In the course of the meetings with the self-governing bodies representatives and citizens, the members of the Committee have discussed the issues on the necessity of the improvements of the current system of laws in the sphere of local self-governing and law implementation aiming at the organization of the common work regarding the formation of the conditions for the effective activity of local self-governing bodies and local budgets.
In particular, Mykola Traiduk, Chairman of the subcommittee on local self-government matters, emphasized that the establishing at the full scope of the regional self-government in Ukraine, implementation of the state regional policy on the agreement basis would facilitate the improvement of the management system in the regions etc.
The attention was also pointed out on the essential issues of the strategy planning of the territories and communities development, increase of the activity of the members of the territorial communities regarding the implementation of the programs on local and regional development.
According to the Chairman of the subcommittee on election laws and citizen communities, Sergiy Pidhornyi, during the improvement of the system of state building one should take into the consideration Ukrainian traditions of self-government development as well s the basic European recommendations regarding the regional development.
Moreover, the improvement of the state regional policy would facilitate the elaboration of the effective mechanism for the consultations with local communities regarding the essential issues on local and regional development.
Members of the Committee have also met the local community of Arbuzynka because of the situation with gas supplement for the citizens. After the scrutiny the People´s Deputies have promised the local citizen to investigate the case and take measures regarding the gas supplement normalization.
